"Hariri, Hezbollah, Berri appeal for calm in Beirut," KUNA (Kuwait News Agency), January 25, 2007.

BEIRUT, Jan 25 (KUNA) -- Lebanon's Hezbollah, Speaker Nabih Berri and the Leader of the Future Movement Saad Al-Hariri on Thursday called for self-restraint on the part of their followers urging them to evacuate the streets as a result of the earlier clashes.

The call followed bloody street clashes betweenloyalists to the government and its opponents on the outskirts of the Arab University, which is located towards the east from downtown Beirut.
