PNN / exclusive – Salah Al Khawaja told PNN this afternoon that at least seven people are down after a vicious Israeli attack. He is the Coordinator of the Popular Campaign against the Wall in western Ramallah.
Dozens of Palestinians and foreign supporters held a nonviolent demonstration on Thursday against the Wall in Nal'in Village.
Demonstrators came close to the bulldozers that are tearing apart the land and putting in the Wall. Israeli soldiers shot rubber-coated steel bullets, concussion grenades and gas at the group protesting this major land seize.
Al Khawaja described Israeli forces raiding the village after the demonstration where youth threw stones while Israeli soldiers fired a “barrage of rubber bullets and gas and sound bombs in a manner that was totally insane.”
Nal'in Village was held under Israeli siege and curfew for four days recently and is routinely attacked as the resistance to Wall has grown.Recommend this Post
